Autumm Mackerel Is Only A Short Distance From Denholm Seafoods

The autumn 2019 mackerel season will commence on Monday 21st of October, with fishing vessel 'Chris Andra' sailing the short distance to the fishing grounds this weekend.

The mackerel is located only 4-5 hours from Peterhead and the first landing is set to arrive at Denholm Seafoods’ pelagic processing facility on Monday morning 21st of October.  Both factories at Denholm Seafoods will be in full production for around five weeks, processing daily landings from the vessels, who will regulate their fishing trips in order to ensure a consistent supply of high quality mackerel.

Denholm Seafoods will produce all sizes of whole mackerel, as well as headed and gutted mackerel for export markets.  Denholm Seafoods will also prepare fresh whole mackerel for the UK and European markets.
